TEAMWORK!!! Our three schools worked together on this project all school year long. We shared ideas and a curiosity to find out not only about the historical buildings of each team's city but also the culture of each as well. That is when we set up our travel buddy exchange. It was through this exchange that this exchange actually became a real learning experience for all! Hiyoshi students said it so well to their teacher, Hajime Yanase, when they said: "The things we will do from now is actual or the imaginary things?" Yanase-sensee says: " It is very rare for Japanese to exchange anything from another country. It may be because we aren't using English and we are in the Island. My students are very interested in this project. Thank you." And so, our exchanges began. :-) Below you will see examples of our exchanges ... chats, sound files, and videos of our students learning about some of the culture.
