Ibirapuera park

On August 21, 1954, Ibirapuera park was inaugurated.
This is a place located in the middle of São Paulo, in the west zone. In this park you can find museums, free animals in the lakes, lots of different people and beautiful nature, despite of being located in the city center. It is a recreational place opened for people of any age. Turists constantly visit Ibirapuera park.

This park has a lot of beautiful architectonical buildings like the Rio Grande do Sul pavillion, that is still in use today. As you can see in the picture it’s a big recreational place.

Nowadays this park is a place that always hosts music concerts, sports matches with lots of funny things to do. If you want to play some sports, go straight to the gymnasium.
