Paulista Ave 
Paulista Avenue was opened on December 8, 1891. During the last decade of XIXth century, it started a great production of Coffee and the country started to be industrialized. Into this context an engineer, Joaquim Eugênio, created Paulista Avenue. Joaquim wanted the Avenue to be like an European avenue. The bourgeoisie, quickly, started occupying this new Avenue, with beautiful mansions and cars. Later, it was built a park, and modern buildings.
Nowadays, Paulista Avenue, is the center of the city, and... why not... the center of the country? There are a lot of buildings, great buildings, lots of cars, and different people. Besides being a business center, Paulista Avenue is a cultural center as well, there are art exhibitions, a lot of theaters and cinemas and museums there.
Paulista Avenue has great hotels, and very popular and famous restaurants. This is a rich place, where you can see some beautiful cars, beautiful
buildings and beautiful women.
