Tourist Office It was 1904 and children still attended Alban school. That summer a school was built on a hill west of the village of Rosholt. About forty students attended eight grades. In the fall of 1912, electricity was put in the school. School started at the end of September and let out in May. In April, 1913, a loan of six thousand dollars was granted for the Rosholt High School. In the summer of 1915 work began on this new school. Several loads of brick were brought on the railroad for the school. In 1925 it officially became a High School. In 1948 it was struck by lightning and burnt down. Students had to go to school at the Community Hall which was located in the Fair Park. Students had to attend classes there until the new High School was built in 1951.
Rosholt School Today Today there are approximately 750 students in the Rosholt School District. In 1999, a $5 million high school addition was added that included an auditorium, gymnasium, band room complex, lobby/ commons, and ten new classrooms. We also recently built a $2 million middle school addition and a $600,000 high school library addition.
