The Indianapolis Children's Museum is one of the four largest and oldest Children's Museums. Mary Stewart Carey founded the museum in 1925. At the Children's Museum, you can see how barbershops looked in the old days or ride a turn-of-the-century carousel. Children who visit the museum can climb a twenty-two foot limestone wall or dig for fossils. You can even climb in a tunnel to see what happens underground.
If you're into construction, visit the construction site. Do you like movies? Come see IWERKS Cine Dome. The movie theater features educational movies that children and adults will enjoy. Before you leave the museum, you can take a look in the gift shop. We know you will enjoy your visit and we hope you come back again really soon! |
