* Students at Cannelton Elementary have created a brochure highlighting historical sites of Cannelton, Indiana. To view the pdf files of this brochure, click here
Also, Cannelton Media Club has created a website dedicated to the most historical building in Cannelton,
the Cannelton Cotton Mill. The website tells the history, has interviews with former workers, and tells what
is happening to the mill now. There is a link to website report on our participants page. To go directly to the site, click here.

* Cannelton Elementary wishes to share with you about a special tree in Cannelton called a "Moon Tree".
The Moon trees were grown from seeds taken to the Moon and back on Apollo 14! To read about them, go to: http://www.zip.com.au/~elanora/tusmoon.html
This is their original report, a new updated report is in the works and will be added soon. Please let us
know if you know of a Moon Tree in your area. There were hundreds of these trees passed out by NASA
in 1975-1976 as part of the Bicentennial Celebration of USA.

* Students of De Wadden Elementary created a site which tells about the Grote Market of Haarlem, The Netherlands! It is a beautiful site! Please check it out at: http://mediatheek.thinkquest.nl/~jr034/ We are sure you will agree that this project is a winner!

* De Wadden also has recently created reports on how they celebrate St. Nick's Day and Christmas. There are many wonderful photos of these events - we invite you to view them as well.

We invite your students to report on how your holidays are celebrated. We want to hear about Kwanzaa,
Chanukah, Feast of St. Lucia, and more. This is a great way to share your culture with the rest of the world.

* Again, if you need ideas for your reports on your town, try visiting other reports that have been turned in to City Quest. http://www.cityquest.digitalschool.nl/indexparticipants.htm

We believe that your city, town, or village is special and we want to help you tell others about how special it is to you and why. Please e-mail us if you have any questions or concerns.
