City Quest is tour of historical
communities around the world. We started with Cannelton, Indiana USA - Haarlem, The Netherlands - and Hiyoshi, Japan. We made a map of our
first virtual city. When you click on one of the buildings, you will see a report about that place in our towns. Some reports have many photos, others have audio or video clips. Each report will show up in a small window. When you are finished reading it, close that window to come back to the city map. If you want to know more about us, about the six travel buddies, our schools, etc. or if you want to help the travel buddies to play the online game of City Quest... just enter the City Hall. City Quest will be an experience you will never forget!
Starting in September 2001, we invite
you to write a report about a historical building from your hometown as
well. Send that report to us and we will add it on this City Quest
Website. Visit the Tourist
Office for more information. Showcase your
town, showcase your work. So come join us
today!

We
checked our project many times and we know ALL links should work. If something seems to be missing, reload the

We
use many RealPlayer movies in our project, so if you want to watch
them, download the newest free version from RealPlayer. |
| EXE
- files |
Some
movies and a part of the secret adventures of the City Hall are .EXE
files. In case you enabled your Virus Scan to protect your system
against .EXE files, you may consider to disable your protection to
be able to see the movies and play the game. |
| Windows
Media Player |
Some
movies are also in Windows Media Player (.MPG) format. So we also
recommend to update your Media Player if necessary. |
| Virtual
World Plug-in
|
To
be able to view our City Hall, you need to have a VRML-viewer.
Notice that the City Hall Virtual World is an .WRL file. To our
opinion the best viewer for our Corel Web.Graphics Virtual World
is vrmlocx.EXE
. But you also can
download vieuwers from for instance the website http://www.superscape.com
or from http://www.cai.com/cosmo/ . |
