Shopping
Center Mizunami
 |
We went to one of the biggest shopping center in Mizunami, because we wanted to know why our parents and many people gather to this store. Before we went to the shopping center, we planned how to go there and what we should investigate and interview. When we talked about the visit, we found the important thing that we should compare is the big shopping center with the old shopping street. Then we decided to go to the shopping street in front of the station after we go to the shopping center. The day before we went to the shopping center, October 26th 2000, we learned how to make up our reports. We also decided who would take pictures and that each of us will make the main theme of
investigation.

The day we were to go to the shopping center came. We got on a bus to go to city, then we got off the bus. We needed about 10 minutes on foot from the bus stop Meihakuji to the shopping center. When we arrived at the shopping center, we heard about the outline from the chief of this shopping center. Then we went around in this shopping center. We found many secrets in many
places. For example, when we asked the clerk in the bookstore, she told about the "POP". The "POP" is a kind of bill that hangs out by
wire. It attracts people's attention. Many commodities are displayed with many
thoughts. The commodities sold well are displayed on the shelf the height of our
eyes. When the commodities are for only the children, they are displayed in a lower place. After we interviewed and investigated many
things, we gathered to the roof and asked many things to the chief. He told to us about the
stocking, imported commodities from many countries, bargain sales, chain stores, and so
on.

After we left there, we went to a park and ate lunch. Then we went to the shopping station
street. Many stores have been worked on from the Meiji era (1868-1912). When we entered Ebisuya a kimono shop, the hostess explained about the old things and the history of this store. When the railroad was constructed in Meiji era, the founder opened this store. There are many old things in this store.
"Itoguruma" is a spinning wheel made in old time. People who keep a store in this shopping street also devise many ways to gather
customers. They make an application card that can be used in any stores on this
street.
The next day, we talked about the many secrets of the store in our class. We could learn many devices and
secrets, then we talked about the thoughts of people who want to sell much and also thought of
customers.
