Mizunamishi Culture Center
(Music Hall)

Mizunamishi culture center is located in the middle of our city. The center includes the library, the gallery, a creation room, meeting rooms, a multimedia room, a rehearsal room, a café, big music or culture hall, and many other rooms. We sang together in chorus here last November 17th.

We started to select the song from June. We decided to sing the songs "Parade Ho Ho" and "Crane" in September. We practiced singing every day. When we started to learn these songs, we read the song lyric again and again. We could imagine the view of the words. We drew pictures of the story of crane. All of us entered the field of the story and we could sing the song like a storyteller.

Two songs are very different. "Parade Ho Ho" is a high-spirited song. And the "Crane" is a sad one. The day November 17th came. About 1000 people came to listen in this hall. When we started to sing, we received warm applause from our mothers, fathers, many people who live in this city, and other school students. After we sang the "Parade Ho Ho", we changed our feeling in a few seconds.

After we sang the songs, we were very glad to hear from teachers and parents that our songs were very great. It felt good to us to sing songs on that stage. If we have a chance to go there again and if we have a chance sing a song, we will practice and sing willingly!
